“I have always felt an intimate relationship with photographic art from which I have never been able to ignore. I have an instinct to see life as ephemeral moments from which I feel the need to capture them, perhaps this is what motivates me the most in the moment to take a photograph, that will always be there. It's forever.

My name is Mara Bolúmar, lover of artistic photography and captor of unique and unrepeatable moments. Born in Valencia (Spain), I did my University studies on the beautiful and interesting science of Medicine and later, I specialised as a professional in Anaesthesiology and intensive care. Being honest, my day to day is Medicine and I love it.

At the same time, influenced by my uncle and my grandfather, also amateurs and great experts in photographic technique, I have always had a camera in my hands. With photography I only intend to escape from reality, create my own world, the one I see through my eyes and capture it forever. 

Get a feeling about the person who is seeing the image I have created, look for the beauty of the moment, because beauty is in any corner, at any simple moment and I think that a good photographer has to achieve this with every job he/she does.
